Fall Football

Congratulations on your selection to the U.S. National Team. As one of the “top-right athletes” chosen from across the United States, you will have the unique responsibility to serve as an ambassador for football on the field during international competition. USA Football is proud to provide all U.S. National Team athletes and coaches with an opportunity to represent the United States of America while celebrating the sport of football on the world stage.

The 2015 International bowl will feature four U.S. National Teams based on athletes’ ages. These athletes will line up against their peers on the Canadian National Team. International Bowl games will be played at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboy. As the national governing body of the sport, USA Football has permission from the NCAA to permit current college coaches to serve on our National Team staffs. In addition to representing our country, you also will be facilitating the international growth of the game.

USA Football was endowed by the NFL and NFLPA in 2002 as a non-profit organization dedicated to help grow and develop the sport of football. USA Football is recognized by the NCAA as the national governing body of the sport and thus is awarded exemptions to NCAA rules. As the national governing body of the sport, USA Football is the only organization that can field and manage U.S. National Teams for competitions sanctioned by the International Federation of American Football

Trevor Bloomer is chosen for the U15 age group on the USA National Football Team. He started his football career with TJFL on the mini team the Tigers with Antonio Teran and Dom Teran in 2008. He is now a senior player on the Patriots with Coach Shannon Smith. Next fall he will be moving on to High School and hopes to continue growing in the game.

Fall Football

TJFL Fall football is offered to boys and girls ages 4-13. The season runs August through November. TJFL's fall program has been a part of the Thornton community since 1962. Rosters from our fall program are not transferable to or from our spring league. Spring and fall football operate under the same TJFL game rules.

The Cutoff date for each age group is NOVEMBER 1st. What ever age your child is as of Nov 1st, that is the age group they will play in.
