Congratulations on your selection to the U.S. National Team. As one of the “top-right athletes” chosen from across the United States, you will have the unique responsibility to serve as an ambassador for football on the field during international competition. USA Football is proud to provide all U.S. National Team athletes and coaches with an opportunity to represent the United States of America while celebrating the sport of football on the world stage.
The 2015 International bowl will feature four U.S. National Teams based on athletes’ ages. These athletes will line up against their peers on the Canadian National Team. International Bowl games will be played at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboy. As the national governing body of the sport, USA Football has permission from the NCAA to permit current college coaches to serve on our National Team staffs. In addition to representing our country, you also will be facilitating the international growth of the game.
USA Football was endowed by the NFL and NFLPA in 2002 as a non-profit organization dedicated to help grow and develop the sport of football. USA Football is recognized by the NCAA as the national governing body of the sport and thus is awarded exemptions to NCAA rules. As the national governing body of the sport, USA Football is the only organization that can field and manage U.S. National Teams for competitions sanctioned by the International Federation of American Football
