7-1!!! Too hard fought wins in a row with players out, very big when kids can overcome adversity. These boys have come a long way from just a group of boys showing up to tackle and run on a football field to a family of young men ready to fight and work as one unit. As a coach I have always pushed the importance of being a team and getting better each day, however this group has bought in like no other group and it shows on the field. The parents on this team have also bought in which makes the kids buy in so much more. This season has been my favorite in this league and it has nothing to do with the winning, the kids are one, they are brothers and have built relationships with each other that many of them will take with them in life. They have also built other skills during the season that they don't even know about, the ability to both lead and follow which allows team work in all walks of life to happen, they have all learned self respect as well as respect for others in a way

a battle this week that proved that our boys are a unit. I thank you guys for staying determined and focused!!

Well I think 35-6 is a pretty good response guys. this team has 7 kids who have scored points (Xzavier, Will, Erik, Kalub, Leo, Michalle, and Tre). 3 kids have interceptions ( Leo for 6, Michalle, and Alex). 5 kids have sacks ( Carlos, Samuel, Patrick, Abe, Dillon). Every kid who has been on defense has at least 5 tackles including Isaias who played defense for the first time yesterday and picked up 8 tackles. The O-line has established some incredible holes for Erik, Xzavier, Kalub, and Will to run in. 3 different kids have caught passes, ( Zak, Mike, and Tre). Point is guys every kid on this team has contributed to our team and makes me very proud to say I am their coach. The kids have bought into the mentality that we are one body and must be one to win so much that this team has become very special.

3-1 now its time to respond to the loss. This is when champions are made, responding to getting knocked down, and we will respond. Chiefs.....Whose tougher then we are??????

3-0 guys great start to the season. Very proud of my Chiefs team that has truly bought into being brothers. We do everything as one and so far we have stayed together solid and gelled like family. Big test this week with Patriots lets have some fun.
